Right Whale Festival: Premier of my short film

I have some exciting news to share!

For those looking for something fun todo next weekend look no further than The Right Whale Festival! The festival celebrates the yearly Right Whale Migration to warmer, Florida Waters! The North Atlantic Right Whale is endangered with less than 350 left.

November 1st and 2nd, free event with live music, shopping, raffles and more! This is always the highlight of my year, not only is it fun- but you feel good after being around so many people who want to make a difference. Fernandina is also a lovely little town with old Florida vibes- it even has the oldest pub in FL! Fort Clinch park is also fun if you stay in town for the whole weekend!

The first night, Saturday of the festival is movie night! Grab your blanket, snacks and your loved ones and cuddle up underneath the movie screen that will be set up! Opening for 2 great whale documentaries you don't want to miss will be my new never seen before short film: SpaceFlight! Follow A Right Whale as she jumps so high she flies to the moon and beyond! As she travels she grows in size until she is larger than the stars!

This was my first long animation, I have always wanted to experiment with the medium and am excited for what the future holds in this realm! All of the backgrounds are NASA common use material- it was fun to see what I could use and a challenge. I feel like it speaks to just how much material has already been made to utilize for artists that you can look to instead of AI generation.

Some teaser screenshots!

I hope to see you there!

P.S. The movie will be on YouTube after the festival premier- I want it to be the first showing!
